At the dock for Kom Ombu Temple in the late afternoon for an evening tour of the temple of the crocodiles.
This is a holiday adventure blog so I will not bore you with the symmetrical curiosity of the temple, nor of its dune top location. All of that stuff is on wikipedia. I have spelt the temple name correctly to assist in your interweb searches. What I will do is include some nice pics of our night out. We also saw some dancing cobras being snake charmed by a bloke but I didn't take a photo of that, drat.
This is the crocodile god, Gail quite liked his kneecaps. In fact the observant amongst you will see these carvings are in relief, i.e. carved out, not into the stone.
Some puppies, we think they are/look like great danes but that could be a prejudiced view.
On our return to our room we found a crocodile on our bed.
